You were created to worship.
As we journey through the book of Job, chapter by chapter, we're invited to reflect on the Lord, our hearts toward Him, and our relationships with others. The book captures a profound dialogue between Job, his friends, and God. Take time to let God's Word speak to your heart-it's recorded for His purpose.
In Job's response, he declares, "He alone stretches out the heavens and treads on the waves of the sea. He made the Bear, Orion, and the Pleiades, and the chambers of the south. He does great things beyond understanding, wonders without number." Job 9:8-10
In times of strife and suffering, we may be overwhelmed by emotions-anger, sadness, anxiety, or bitterness. Yet, even amid Job's pain, he never lost sight of God's glory. He continued to worship, proclaiming God's majesty to his friends.
In the depths of Job's suffering, he worshipped. We are designed to worship, and life's highs and lows should not dictate whether we do. Is your voice silent in the storm? Let your heart and voice cry out to the God who created heaven and earth. Sing, for the Lord is worthy of worship in every season. Are you worshipping? If not, why not now?
