Your question has been answered.
Job continues his prayer to the Lord after responding to his friend. In his suffering and pain, Job wrestles with deep questions. In Job 14:7-8, he says, "For there is hope for a tree, If it is cut down, that it will sprout again, And that its tender shoots will not cease. Though its root may grow old in the earth, And its stump may die in the ground,"
Then, in verse 14, Job asks the Lord, "If a man dies, shall he live again? All the days of my hard service I will wait, Till my change comes."
We know the answer to that question today. Jesus said in John 11:25-26, "I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live. And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die. Do you believe this?" John 11:25-26
This truth offers hope that we can share with others. Perhaps you know someone facing a trial, enduring suffering, or struggling through a difficult season. They may not know this truth or may have forgotten it amid the noise of their challenges. Let's allow Christ to be magnified through us today by sharing this hope!
